KATIE SANDERS
Katie Sanders founded One Grove Strategies after 20 years of serving in nonprofit fundraising and executive management roles with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Marquette University, Safe & Sound, and the Milwaukee Public Museum. She also has extensive experience as a volunteer board and committee member.
Katie has been recognized with the Milwaukee Business Journal's 40 Under 40 and Women of Influence awards, Milwaukee Magazine's Betty Awards, Donald Driver Foundation's “Driven to Achieve” Award, and more. She graduated from UW-Madison with a bachelor's in political science and international relations, and a master's from the LaFollette School of Public Affairs, also at UW-Madison. Additionally, she has completed the Harvard Business School’s Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management course, the League of American Orchestra's Essentials of Orchestra Management program, the YWCA's Unlearning Racism program, and has a Certificate in Business Entrepreneurship from UW-Milwaukee.
A Milwaukee native, Katie is proud to base her business in Milwaukee, where she resides with her husband and three teenage boys.
